We took the road from Colorado to Nevada, crossing New Mexico and Arizona. We spent a couple of days in Arizona after exploring The white sands National monument in New Mexico.
I wanted to stick to Southern Arizona because we were headed to Vegas and did not want a huge detour. All I could see was hues of Reds and Blues. Driving through the red rock formations that stand amid the greens forests and blue skies is a feast to the eyes.
I planned on visiting the Sonoran Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park. However, with the tight schedule that we had, we could only make it to the Saguaro National Park. After visiting the Majestic Saguaro Cactii, we headed to our hotel and called it a day.
Early in the morning, we visited Sedona, Arizona. You can add a lot of hikes to your list if you plan on staying in Sedona for more than a day.
The trails in Sedona are quite busy and we dint get a chance to hike any of them. However, I assure you that driving around Sedona will make you fall in love with the place.
I am definitely going back to Sedona to hike.
I hope you have an extra day to spare to hike a few of the best trails that Sedona has to offer.
Wow. Beautiful place, it appears. Hope to visit at the earliest.
