Grabbing a pumpkin from a nearby market is convince. But, visiting a farm on a sunny day, walking through colorful foliage, plucking the perfect apple, picking the best pumpkin, biting a fresh donut, sipping fresh hot cider with family and friends, fills your fall memories and warm moments to get through winter.
Initially, when I wrote a post on pumpkin picking, I decided to visit a different farm every year. However, the taste of donuts and apple cider from Wilken’s Farm is unmatched. I was disappointed with the donuts from the last two farms I have visited. So, hitting the road to Wilken’s farms again for the second time after two years.
This is a long weekend with all the schools giving a day off as its Columbus Day, so we decided to head out early. We started at around 9ish and went to a nearby cafe and had an amazing breakfast.
The weather was so gloomy when we were out for breakfast and the forecast was cloudy. So, I haven’t carried my DSLR – Obviously because I was disappointed with the weather.

Here I am super excited to back at the Wilken Farms for the donuts. Oh, You should see the line for the donuts. I have included a video on my Instagram stories. We were in line for about 30-35 minutes before we got our hands on the delicious donuts, Banana bread, Coffeecake, Peach Pie, Lemonade, and Apple cider.

We took a lot of pictures and picked our perfect pumpkin to float at the Central Park on October 30.

Never leave any place you visit without taking as many pictures as you wish for.
Now, Let’s enter into the apple farms. Aaah! The apples were soooo delicious. They are so fresh, juicy and crispy.

I hope all of you go Pumpkin Picking and apple plucking.!
