Frost Fest 2019

I walk across the Bryant park everyday and was really excited to see the Bumper ice cars here. This is my first time seeing a bumper car on ice which was totally a blast for me. I was told that the bumper cars on ice are one of the new activities to appear in Bryant Park as part of the Frost Fest. I booked tickets online as I was not sure if any would be left at the ticketing counter on a Saturday night.

There was also live ice carving and the man carved a bear. The fountain was frozen and of course what else do you expect in New York during the winters?

On reaching there, there were many fancy photo booths to flood my Insta stories. We took as many pictures as possible.

We had to wait for atleast two hours before getting on the cars. My face and feet started hurting very badly because of the frost bites and wanted to go into a warm place so bad. However, thanks to my husband for not letting me leave the line and we got to get on the bumper cars. The car was so much fun.

It’s $15 for a 10-minute ride—a little pricey, but totally worth it.

There are also cool igloos if you can afford the price. Each one costs around $200 for four people.

The Lodge is Bryant Park’s new winter food hall and bar. It’s on the north east side of the skating rink and has enough options of food and drink too make everyone happy. It’s a perfect first date spot. Get a couple of their hot cocktail options, try to cozy up, and if you click, grab a bite from one of the many food vendors.

Hit it off and hit the rink after!
